sir,
We have a study centre were around thirty children come for free tuition from 6pm to 8pm. Most of them study in the chennai schools at Koyembedu. We want to bring these children and show this library for them especially the children’s section.
Whom should we contact and when should we bring them? May be some saturday when the school is having leave they can be brought for a visit. Kindly let us know so that we can make it possible.
I visited the library in Nov 2010. People incharge informed that the entire library will become fuctional by Pongal 2011. Hope it is totally functioning now.
Thank you
Yours cordially

Reading books is a very good habit and lot of us want to
inculcate the habit in our kids. In Chennai Kotturpuram, our Government has
opened this 9 story
Library
and a floor exclusively for the kids. I took my 3 year old Daughter on Saturday
and she really enjoyed reading the books. There was so much of variety. I was
so excited by it and wanted to share with our folks, so that this Summer it
might help your kids to spend some time in a positive way.
The Kids section is for kids below the age of 14. Only one
parent can accompany the kid. The timings are 10am to 8 pm (approximately).
There are no charges for using the facility. The AC was kept at an optimum
temperature, the place was clean and there were lot of people helping you to
select the books.
